I order a york couch set for delivery between 12/27 and 1/13. I received notification it is now on backorder with an approximate delivery of more than an additional month delay. I anticipate this will be delayed again. I had a family member who ordered a large chair that took more than six months past estimated delivery at time of purchase. Zero stars if I could! Ordered a $2,000 bed for my 7 year old daughter in August 2022, they charged my card immediately. Delivery date was supposed to be 2 weeks out. After 20+ calls over the last 5 months with excuses of lost pieces and warehouse truck unloading delays, our order was finally scheduled for delivery for next week. Waited 3 months for sectional to be delivered after it was pushed back one month and then another month because half of the couch was lost by the warehouse people. Finally, we were delivered a severely damaged sectional with stains, missing pieces, and bent legs, straight off the truck, all documented by the delivery team. I wish I had read these reviews before spending 10k of my money at West Elm. west Elm has the most unprofessional delivery system. I was scheduled for a delivery on December 21 and waited for 3 hours only to find out by calling that my couch was never placed on the truck. Then to be offered a new date 3 weeks later and have no one who can rectify the situation. I placed this order on at the end of October if there delivery partner is so bad they should find a new one.
Don't order anything from Williams Sonoma online they cant deliver!
Similar to other reviews, I placed a furniture order in September 6th, 2021. Since then, multiple excuses, ignored messages, and confusion have brought us to Dec 2022 with no clear delivery date in sight. My credit card has charged in full. The customer service has been rude, evasive, and noncommittal was promised follow up responses. Good luck
I ordered a sectional couch plus ottoman from West elm on October 30th,2022. I understand there is a time delay in getting delivery, and so i wasn't surprised when my delivery window get delayed when I received an email on Nov 3rd. Ordered a backpack from Pottery Barn Kids and it ripped. These are overpriced items, but supposedly durable and worth the money. Wrong. It didnt last a month after use. There is a 30 day replacement policy and they will not bend. I purchased the backpack in August (prior to the start of school - shame on me for being prepared!). It was not put into use until the end of September, so the "policy" would have been void even though it wouldn't have been used yet. Pottery Barn has owed me over $1000 for over a year, every time I email to check in I only hear more excuses and promises of resolution (in **** business days) absolutely absurd customer service. Please refund me! Ive waited long enough and have jumped through so many hoops, this is out of control and frankly deplorable customer service.
