Have been promised an $885 refund for almost 2 months now - still nothing has posted. I am paying interest on this amount and the level of customer service from this "high end" retailer is absolutely deplorable. Once the rest of my order ships, I will be closing my West Elm card and never shopping here again. Truly despicable and illegal, may I add. I highly recommend Crate and Barrel, Target, Wayfair....literally any other place that sells furniture, than here.

Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and West Elm have all turned into a scam of a business. They will gladly take you money, but never deliver the product. How is this legal? I've placed an order back on June 6th and the delivery date kept getting pushed out. I've received no updates since September at this point. Every time I call customer service they say that they at noting it on my account, but there is no verification. Then when I call back they say there are no notes on the account. I understand that there are delays and su... read more

Pottery Barn:We ordered a ****** Custom Fabric bed from Pottery Barn on June 4th *****. We ordered from the Pottery Barn in ****** **. It is now 5 months later and we still do not have the bed. It was supposed to be delivered within 6 weeks from the time we ordered it. It was supposed to come a month before a major hurricane here in *******. The slats, frame, and footboard were delivered nearly 4 weeks before the storm, but not the headboard. Two weeks after the hurricane, I spoke with someone who tried to tell me it was del... read more

This is specifically about WestElm.com. I placed an order for a rug on 10/13/22, and the order confirmation had a delivery date of 11/4/22. When it wasn't delivered on the 4th, I reached out and the customer service representative told me that it would be delivered to the local warehouse on November 7th and be delivered to me on November 8th. When I checked on the 9th, the tracking was updated to November 14th, and when I logged in again on the 10th (today), it was updated to December 27th. I spoke with an agent who informed... read more

I ordered bedding on Oct. *************************************************** two to three business days. Never once said anything about the product being backordered. Go to check my order status, suddenly it's backordered. No communication from the brand. That's fine, I'll wait...but it kept getting pushed out more and more and more. Latest update was now I would not get bedding until MARCH. MARCH! 5 MONTHS for a blanket and two pillowcases. Ended up cancelling. Tip for West Elm: BE HONEST ABOUT BACKORDERED PRODUCT. If it's... read more

I purchased a crib for my newborn that said it was in stock and would be delivered that same week, but apparently that was just one of many lies. I did not receive it for almost 4 months. So my newborn child did not have his crib to sleep in. If I would have known it was going to take that long I would have never even have ordered it. They also never even kept me updated with what was going on with my order unless I called in, which I did many times and just continued to get the run around or just people that did not wanna h... read more

I ordered a couch from West Elm and paid for white glove delivery. The delivery ppl brought the couch upstairs but it turned out they had no idea how to build the thing. They spent two hours at my house trying and failing to build it. I called West Elm, they claimed the instructions were online--they were not. They have instructions for every model but the one I ordered, so I could not even build the thing myself. They then offered me 15% off the couch, as well as a refund on my white glove delivery fee for me to keep the co... read more

Ordered a couch from them back in September. Once it was out for delivery that morning, we got a call from the Cranberry distribution center and were told the couch was lost and to wait 72 hours for them to locate it. After 6 days the Cranberry distribution center said the only next stop is to place a new order and the new delivery date is March 2023. 4 more months. The store said once the order is placed, there is nothing they can do.
