I can't begin to tell you how awful the customer service is with this company. I purchased the modern farmhouse bed for my daughter (an over $2k piece of furniture). Upon checking out it forced me to opt into their "white glove" shipping and installation for approximately $240. I wanted the bed, so I paid for it. I scheduled delivery for Sunday, 12/4/2022. I work for a design firm and have a business account with West Elm. We have bought many products from West Elm for our interior design projects but will never order again due to the poor customer service. Pottery Barn is at best a woefully mismanaged mess, or at worst a willfully fraudulent scam of a corporation.As with many other reviews on this site, I placed an order for a vanity that the website said was in stock. I started construction on my bathroom on the premise that I had ample time to receive the vanity I paid for. Without notifying me, Pottery Barn changed my delivery window and placed the item on backorder. To reiterate, I had to check on my order to even find out it had been DELAYED. Worst online order experience I've ever had with them (Pottery Barn). Purchased $800+ of overpriced curtain rods, half of which was backordered for over a month (despite being given NO warning of such prior to placing the order). But the real nightmare experience started when I noticed that one of the curtain rods sent was the incorrect finish. I was going to order over $8000 of furniture to replace living room furniture that was damaged in a house fire. I cannot risk being traumatized by not receiving it. It seems like a class action lawsuit should be filed. This is shameful.

S**** Williams Sonoma and all its brands. I hope they get sued and go bankrupt. Today 2/3 items I ordered were supposed to be delivered between 10 & 12. 12 rolls around and nothing no e-mail, no call, no communication. So I call them up and am told the truck has broken down and the items will be there later today without any specificity vis--vis timing. 2pm rolls around and still nothing. Like many of the other reviewers here, I have experienced abysmal customer service from ********************. I placed an order for a futon in August, with an expected delivery date in October. The order has been repeatedly delayed, and most recently I was charged for the item and then the estimated delivery was delayed again until January - well after when I need it for visiting family over the holidays. No one should every buy online from Pottery Barn Kids. I still don't have my order of a Kendal crib which I made 20 days ago which says it's available now for delivery in as little as a week. They do not provide a tracking number, instead they use a third party that has no ability to track a shipment. Multiple customer service calls I'm told "you should receive it tomorrow" by a customer support rep who has no power to do anything to help. Do not buy anything on the website. Ordered a bedroom set from Pottery Barn July 2022. Received email and voicemail saying it would be delivered Oct 13 th. We gave away our bedroom set that day but they never showed up even after receiving phone call that they were 10 minutes out. After repeated calls it was rescheduled for the 23rd.. on the 23rd they called to say they couldnt find it so no delivery. We keep calling Pottery Barn who say its been escalated but still no action. Sleeping on the floor and they still have our *****.
