For such a company that specializing in selling high dollar items the order VS delivery process is awful! This company has canceled/ lost 4 orders of mine and they simply do not care! As of now Im deciding to take my business elsewhere, which is a need not a want because Ive loved furnishing my home with this companys products for years! I just cant keep reliving awful experiences with this company. Steer clear!
I have been very unsatisfied with the customer service and online shipping situation.I ordered a set of curtains on May 22nd. I ordered several large furniture pieces for our newly renovated house. In total our order was close to $25,000. We have had nothing but problems with Pottery Barn. We received several notifications that items were ready to be delivered and then we would call to schedule and the items would not be at the warehouse. I purchased a duvet cover with shams on June 8. Due to an error on their part, they re-processed my order that was supposed to be delivered by June 13. Because of the re-processing, its now being delivered the end of July. I called to speak with a supervisor twice, and was told they were none available. Ordered a Father's *** gift two weeks in advance to make sure it would be there in time. Ten days after ordering, it still had not shipped. Called 'customer service' and was told that the item would likely NOT be there before Father's *** as it is a 'vendor' item. I asked them to cancel the order. Ordered a custom sofa in March with anticipation of delivery for the end of May. The delivery dates continue to be moved back. Finally scheduled delivery 10 days ago to receive a call that one of the pieces is missing and they need to delay delivery, but would do a partial delivery. It is now the middle of June. Avoid working with Pottery Barn! I have been faced with horrendous customer service, complete apathy, disrespect, and they are a carelessness and disorganized company.
My wife received 4 decorative plates from her daughter in law. One plate had a black inclusion in the white portion. **************** contacted that resulted in the agent told us to "keep it". I sent an email to the ceo. NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. Now that is customer service of the ***************.
I bought a mirror from West Elm but when it arrived, it was completely shattered. It was an "as-is" product, but the website still sold the mirror as an intact mirror, not as a shattered mirror. I have never received a furniture order from Pottery Barn without a problem, but now I'm finally done for good. Ordered 4 chairs Oct. 1st 2022, & the delivery date was repeatedly delayed. Then I received notices multiple times that the chairs were ready at my local distribution center and I could schedule delivery, but every single time I would then be told right before scheduled delivery that the delivery had to be cancelled because 1 or more chairs were missing.
