Repeatedly delayed shipment when it was supposedly already shipped. First item ordered (herb shears) took 10 months to get and they wouldn’t refund the whole time. Assumed it was due to the pandemic so tried again with a pan. It’s been a month and they push back the delivery date every couple of days.

Absolute worst purchasing and customer service experience ever. I purchased a bed, paid in full, and waited for it. I received a voicemail the day before the scheduled delivery just saying it was canceled. Since then, I have never received a phone call from them. I still don't have my product. They have my money. I have called customer service 9 times. Every time I am told that I need to wait for them to contact me for one reason or another, and they never do. I am on my third re-order, still no product. The first one never ... read more

Williams Sonoma charged me 700 dollars for two chairs. Delivered me a 300 dollar table, and won't return my 700 dollars to me until they get their table back. It would be one thing (and also terrible) if they gave me the money back on the chairs but kept the cost of the table until I returned it. No. They are keeping all of my money until they can get their delivery team back to my house on their schedule. I won't see my 700 dollars for another week and I'll apparently never see those chairs. The company confirmed: they don'... read more

I ordered 2 sets of chairs from west elm in March and set up payment to be through Affirm. Shortly after West Elm emailed me and said 1 set of chairs had been cancelled with no reason. I called them and was told that for the remained of the chairs they had started preparing 1 chair for shipment. In other words out of 4 chairs they would only be sending me 1. Since I had no use for just 1 chair I cancelled it. This was also in March. They then reimbursed me- but only for 2 chairs, and left me showing as still owing for the ot... read more

Terrible company. Delivered my 21 year old daughters expensive couch ( $2500) in July 2022. The couch did not have the legs she ordered. They gave her the runaround, stated the picture was wrong on the order. They offered her a 15% discount which was $315 to be issued onto her original credit card. Its now the end of May 2023 and we are still calling trying to get them to put the refund on her card. They have an excuse every time we call and its always someone different that I talk to, and they will not let me talk to a. sup... read more

Truly *********** customer service. They tell you certain items will be delivered via white glove service and do not notify you if an item becomes unavailable. Pro tip: if you are replacing furniture, do not get rid of what you have until the west elm furniture is in your house. Otherwise, you'll be left with no furniture even though you have an email comfirmation with a specific white glove delivery date.

I could write a novel, but Ill keep this short. Avoid purchasing anything from them at all costs. We bought around 15k of products only to have missing items, broken items, and incorrect items. We had around 20 or more delivery dates rescheduled or cancelled, even during the delivery window. It took months to receive our products and then months for them to pick them up and refund **. I reported an issue and was told it was a manufacturing issue when it was a designers mistake, it took two more reorders for Potterybarn to fi... read more

Absolutely awful. I have been waiting 3 months for a dresser that was in stock. First one was lost and now the reorder has taken longer. I have paid in full for the dresser so now pbk has my money and my furniture. I never receive an update and I constantly have to hound for one. I would never recommend to shop her. Same as buying from a sketchy website.

There seems to be a fundamental issue with Pottery Barn's understanding of the customer:vendor relationship. After visiting a store and placing a $7500 furniture order in February, the tracking link "expired" and I am now in the position of calling to find out where the furniture is. The DELIVERY time was May ****. That would suggest someone should have contacted me by now to arrange delivery, right? I have placed two calls to Pottery Barn customer service. The customer service representatives try to be helpful but they are ... read more
