Is it centrally located, yes. Are the prices fair, yes. The staffing and lack of service for a hotel directly across the street from the Hyatt is the problem. No room service, the food was sub par anyway so I see why they dont. Came to try to clean my room at 9:30pm, are you kidding me??? My daughter was already sleep. Will not stay here again, just fork over the extra money and stay across the street, its worth it. Blah.
The lady checking us in failed to tell me about the extra 50 dollars a night they charge for incidentals also tells me breakfast is until 2:30 which she then tells me the day of check out she never said that when she absolutely did . I went down to breakfast at 10:30 with my 2 girls one is 7 and was in the NAM pageant and the other is 3 and the first thing they say is sorry we are closed , this absolutely floored me and with that and the key cards not working much and the remote control didn’t work half the time room service... read more
rooms had bed bugs, elevators not working and they double booked our event and tried to force us out at 7am instead of our 11am check out time. staff entered rooms that were marked do not disturb and management was very unaccomondating. rooms were not available until several hours after check-in.

I was an employee of the this property when it was the Holiday Inn and Sheraton Four Points. It is shameful how much this property has gone down. Elevators that don’t work, no restaurant, too small of a bar and such an uninviting lobby. This is so sad 😞 it once was the best full service hotel in Rochester. I heard nothing but complaints the whole week of our Convention.
Parking is HORRIBLE. I was here for a conference. I had to walk two blocks to get here. On crutches from a knee surgery. Hotel could not make accommodations as it was “busy”. Five hours later I got to my car to leave and the ramp garage wanted $20 for parking. I WILL NEVER COME TO A DOWNTOWN EVENT AGAIN. I hope the mayor and city council members see this. Not a good way to promote city events or entertainment.
We used the Hotel for a Recruitment event and it was extremely successful! The staff were so accommodating and provided excellent attention to detail. Everything was planned out to the letter and we felt very supported before and the day of the event. There was an AV guy who helped us get our projector and laptop set up and working and a banquet server who attended to our every need. Top notch service!
The hotel room was okay. AC isn’t working and i had trouble sleeping. Fortunately I was there just for one night due to plane cancellations. The best part? Hot shower.
