PNC put forced insurance on my property and won't remove it even though I am fully insured and have provided proof. There is serious fraud going on in their impound department. Every time I get a statement it changes by thousands of dollars within a month or two. I am going to try and join a class action suit against them filed in federal court in November. If I could give fewer than 1 star I would. This company is impossible to deal with. It took months to set up online bill pay because the codes they sent out would not work. The latest atrocity has been their withholding of our insurance money from a hail damage claim. They have demanded to interject themselves in our repair process and are keeping OUR money from OUR insurance company! This is the only mortgage company we have had which has this ridiculous policy. PNC Mortgage was a HUGE help back in 2010 when I hit a tough spot. However, as helpful as they were then, they are NOT now. THREE MONTHS and numerous hoops to jump through and I STILL can't get a simple escrow analysis run to adjust the payment after and insurance change. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Customer service appears to have taken a back seat.
Worst mortgage company ever! Hated everything about working with this company. Closed my loan with them over a month ago and still haven't received all my money from them. Not flexible or helpful at all.
We've been in the house a month, but wow what a headache it's been. They didn't even use the correct insurance quote after we were told we needed cheaper insurance then they used the more expensive after we broke our backs looking for cheaper insurance. Now our payment is 30$ more expensive then it should be, which cost us more interest, which allows pnc to pocket more money and our loan officer won't even return phone calls. Quite frank I'll never use pnc again
Don't be taken when PNC offers credits towards closing costs. It's not worth it!! Based on my personal experience in obtaining a mortgage, I was misled by their representatives time and time again and they don't stand behind their words. My closing was delayed for a week and as a result I ended up incurring additional expenses. They agreed to reimburse me, but I haven't received a penny yet and it's been more than 3 wks since the closing. I just filed a complaint with the CFPB.
