I just went to sign online to pay my mortgage like I've done for the past 7 years. The sign on is different. OK, I can deal. Then the security questions, which I never set up. I figure that I'm setting them up. I answer them. I know all the answers, it's about me. Nope! According to PNC, I got all the answers wrong and now my account is locked.
They lied to me abt everything when it came to hiring me, from length of training and hours. I just thank God I didn"t quit another job to go to this one. If I could do something legally I would.
Arghh! Our mortgage was transferred to PNC (our third transfer in 4 years), and getting our biweekly payments set back up has been a bigger hassle than with any other company. It looks like we FINALLY have that set for next month. But, I noticed that my checking account had too much money in it. Sure enough, PNC cashed it for 10% of the value written on the check! Now they are "correcting" it. Hopefully. Please don't call me, customer service. I'll call you...
Worst customer service in the planet! These people are liars and con-artists! I am in a horrible situation and attempting a deed in lieu at THEIR suggestion...I have submitted my hardship package 3 times now! They keep kicking me out of loss mitigation stating that I didn't send them everything on time...but they keep asking for more and then tell me time is up! 2 months after starting the process they inform me that my house must be listed with real estate agent for 3 months before I can try for Deed in lieu! Sadly, PNC bought out National City. So my mortgage became PNC. Storm damage and insurance money was in PNC escrow. Dealing with them was awful, Voice prompt purgatory very drawn out and long to finally get to a real person. Every call resulted in mixed messages from the last call. Incompetence. No money for repairs. I found a contractor that would do it nothing down. All the work was done, and still no money. I finally got my money after telling the inspector how bad PNC is. This is the worst mortgage company I've ever had to deal with as a borrower. Absolutely archaic pay options, overly difficult to navigate website, and horrible customer service. I need an option besides having to refinance to get away from these people!
