This company has a severe lack of customer service and honesty. My husband and I began this 'simple' process in MAY. Then I learned we needed an additional $250 cash for 'fees'. That was taken out of my account early June. Hearing 'crickets' for the next 3 weeks, I inquire as to what the hell is going on. On July 7th I hear that we can close as early as July 8th or the 11th. Quite possibly the worst experience tying to refinance with them. We have a current mortgage with them and they outright LIED and told us that VA does not refinance manufactured homes anymore. They also told us our Parent Plus loan for our daughter's college would have a repayment interest rate of 20% and closing costs of over $10K because of it. When we questioned all of this...they didn't call us back...ever. Then had the gall to mail us an awesome refinance rate for a VA mortgage with 0 closing costs. We called, they said... read more
They are quite possibly the worst mortgage company in the world.. My wife and I made a mistake on our check by writing the written amount wrong but the number amount right. They cashed the check at first then refunded after it was late, saying we were late and that they were going to file foreclosure papers. We had almost perfect credit and they completely destroyed it. You should be ashamed of yourselves! Trying to do a shortsale for 3 months and you refuse to respond TO WEEKLY REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND CONTINUE TO CLOSE THE FILE EVEN THOUGH PNC KNOWS WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO DO! Shame, shame, shame, shame on you!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone trying to get a mortgage for a house I would think twice before going to pnc. I'm going through the process now and it's like a big circus act that has now been strung on for about 2 months and I get closing dates then they change date constantly. They have no communication what so ever and extremely unorganized. Now I'm just on the verge to not get the house because the sellers are frustrated and might back out with all the extensions that are being made. Overall if I had the chance i would go somewhere else
Worst customer service. I am constantly having issues, no one can answer questions. I was with you for a long time...never again. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
