Good luck if you have an insurance claim and PNC have to release the money! They get inspections done with obvious idiots who don’t even report the inspection!! They don’t care that your house is setting rotting in the rain due to them not getting the money for repairs distributed!! They expect payment, but sure like to keep insurance money to earn that interest as long as they possibly can!!
They like to randomly add charges to your account but can’t tell you what it was for. Plus certain charges only show on your paper statement. So if you are like me that just online pays, make sure to always check your paper statement because they can be additional charges there that you are unaware of.

Sorry guys! I just paid off 115,000 loan early. more then doubled my payments. Never had a problem with PNC at all. Guessing I wasn't begging for any special favors other than a loan.
I would NEVER recommend PNC mortgage to anyone. STAY AWAY! It was the most painful and slow mortgage experience ever. They were also rude and incompetent! Wells Fargo does a much better job.
There have been too many issues to recount here, but suffice it to say that the incompetence of PNC has been almost impressive. I signed my residential purchase agreement on March 20th and my loan is STILL NOT in closing and is not projected to close until next week. The loan officer and processor are awful at communicating. I have escalated the issues to their managers and their managers clearly do not care one bit. My realtor has vowed to never use PNC again and I will certainly be adopting that vow.
By helping me to reset my password. You have to send me something by regular mail taking several days to be able to reset my password? Will it come written on stone tablets too? EVERY bank has away to reset the password for customers EXCEPT PNC bank, I guess.
Horrible company find another mortgage company. Racist and racism abound.
