They have continuously messed up our mortgage payments and they are impossible to get on the phone to fix it. I called AGAIN today and was disconnected 3 times. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was disconnected after 30 minutes of no one being able to figure out why the amount was incorrect. They will not give you a phone number to be able to call any department directly even after being specifically asked. If you can avoid doing business with them, DO.

PNC acquired my mortgage servicing June 1 2022. They under estimated my tax payments and sent me a check since my escrow showed a surplus. This year in the escrow analysis they are short. To make up the difference and account for the unaccounted payment my monthly payment will increase by $700. I have had this mortgage for over 20 years. PNC should have known what the disbursements are when they acquired the loan. Pnc completely lied to me. I applied for a home equity line of credit that closed in December. The lender asked if I wanted to do a rate lock to take a draw, because I wasnt going to take one. I did, the construction project I had plans to use the funds yet has not even started. All of a sudden, after investing the money and needing to take short term capital gains, they tell me that it was a 6 month introductory rate lock. So apparently the bank takes out certain charges on your bank statement and then puts them back in. Had spent about a thousand dollars on a trip to *******. Then when i check my account a couple days later the charge i had made was gone even though i saw it the same day i made the purchase. Called customer support and they said they don't see anything on there end about a charge. About a week later the charge hit my account. Wound up being in the negative because instead of it posting at most the day prior it sits and waits.... read more

I got an auto loan. Paid it off. Called to get lien release letter to be emailed or faxed to me. They refused. Said they would mail it 7-10 business days. The money was taken directly out of my account to their account. So no waiting for checks to clear. They have the cash already. They can't guarantee that it will be delivered or not lost. Now a days they can do everything on line but this. Unacceptable. Do not get a loan from them.

My son had a checking account with this bank. He was victim of a scam that bilked his account of $10,000, by sending him a bogus check and requiring him to send money to a 3rd party right away (I know, it was a dumb thing to do). He didn't have $10,000 in his account, but because he had OVERDRAFT PROTECTION, the bank paid out the money. PNC bank then accused my son of fraud, froze all his account, did a cursory "review" and demanded he pay up. They treated the victim like the criminal and didn't give a **** about helping him... read more

I tried to open an account and filled out all the I formation for online account. Then for the verification process, they could not do because I dont text. I closed the account the same day. I am still getting a statement from the bank. A different story from anytime you call customer service. All I want is a statement saying account is closed. They are now telling me I need to go to a branch. This is a terrible system they have and business.

So far I am not impressed. I opened an account almost two weeks ago. After waiting several days, I was ready to fund my account. I tried the external account transfer, but my bank was not listed. I knew it was linked because the small deposits were processed. A few days later, my bank showed up, so I attempted the transfer. It did not go through. I contacted PNC through ******* and they kept asking me the same questions over and over again. I contacted my bank and they said to use their "Send Money" feature. I did that, but ... read more
