Pnc is the worst bank to get a auto loan through. I have had them for 3 months and it is non stop charges of other fees and interest that don’t add up. DO NOT USE THIS BANK FOR A LOAN. Customer service is horrible and clearly had no idea what’s going on. What’s worse when u want something done they have to put in notes and request it. Looking for another company to refi with now.

Let me start by saying, this bank couldn't care less about it's customers...that's why you see this robotic garbage answer after select reviews which are not so egregious... PNC takes our customer's concerns very seriously. We will be working privately with our customer to resolve this matter. Next, a few years ago I was buying a new car. At this point I had been a customer for 4 years with no issues. I did have a discharged bankruptcy on my record but that was basically a non factor. I had worked hard to get my score well o... read more

PNC is not a bank for the ordinary customer who does not keep large deposits in their accounts. Its fees, customer service and problem resolution require hours of time on the phone with its customer service number, its branch, its problem escalation department. For example, Recently I deposited a $1000 check also drawn on PNC, which became available and then was returned in spite of the drawer confirming to the bank that it was valid. The reason given was double talk and changed with each person I talked to. The bank informe... read more

After multiple attempts,3 months later to address and resolve escrow and access issues to the PNC web site to process mortgage payments I get disconnected for a 2nd time, with no resolution! But instead get the same condescending attitude from a costumer representative. Then a disconnect, after I call back to discover no record of my call for assistance!!! I thank they an do better, OR I can definitely get a better bank to deal with!!!

10/23/2018 This review is especially addressed to Mr. William D******* I was a customer for more than one year and out of the sudden the bank decided to close my account without giving me any reason. The employees I spoke to told me that if I have the right to close my account, the bank could do the same. Well that never happened to me before. In the past, I closed my bank account at Bank of America, Sun Trust and TD Bank due to malpractice. In my life, I was never overdraft, check bounced or anything else. I had a large amo... read more

The worst online banking experience from any bank i have ever dealt with. This bank is operating on 60 year old banking methods. Switching bank really soon.

I am currently on hold with PNC Loans waiting to speak to a manager. I’ve been holding for almost 30 minutes now. I was approved for a $5000 loan, but due to bad credit I had to purchase the insurance in order for the loan to go through. I had to buy a $200 Google Play card( which I did not have the money for), and give the company the number for funds. Once that was approved I was then told I would have to pay an additional $300 for taxation. Something I was not originally told about. Again I would have to pay them through ... read more

I took out two auto loans through PNC in June of 2018. I received instruction from PNC on how to auto-withdraw money from my non-PNC account (Primary checking) to PNC through their banking website, I decided to give it a try. I can say that this process was difficulty to do, but I eventually figured it out. Somehow on the first scheduled payment each auto loan had two withdrawals, which means I made a double payment. PNC was unable to figure out how to return one of the payments to me and I eventually had to dispute through ... read more
