My father passed away in March 2017. My mother and father lived in Mt. Pleasant, PA all their lives and banked at the local PNC all their married life. Trying to settle his accounts and their joint accounts were so painful for my mother. There was no sympathy or helpfulness. Just road blocks. Horrible customer service, misleading information on online banking, and then they want to charge you fees. Would not recommend. Absolute garbage.

In October 2017 I attempted to deposit 2 checks at a PNC branch in Strongsville Ohio on Royalton Road. One of the checks was made to me and also my husband. The teller refused to deposit the check in my account. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager refused to speak with me (stayed in his office with glass windows where he was not on the phone or computer and did not have anyone in his office) and sent the assistant manager to speak with me. I have a checking account and credit card account with PNC. I made an incorrect credit card payment online and immediately called to cancel the payment. I was assured at the time that the payment had been cancelled. Two weeks later, the payment from checking account to credit card account was processed. I called to clarify why this payment had gone through. PNC Biz credit Card has to be the worst. customer service is ok. but the process to pay on your bill is terrible and the online account view is poorly designed at best its almost impossible to get your account balance and pay without calling and getting an account manager ...PNC needs to take lessons from ******** card...******** card is awesome
My husband and I are using this branch for our home loan. We have had non-stop problems with them. From getting the appraisal for the first home we planned on purchasing all wrong and refusing to do anything about it, to giving us a clear to close date then don’t getting the paperwork to us in time and pushing back the date (again). We do not feel that our needs have been cared for, nor do we feel that our business is valued. This has been a very terrible experience.
PNC bank is keep on charging me overdraft even though the money is in my account. on January 14 2018 they charge me on postdated for January 16 2018. when federal law say you cant write a postdated check how a bank can charge a postdated transaction. on January 12 2018 i have enough money to clear my check and i will left over $22 after i paid that check but they charge me $36 over draft fee and like this they charge me over $13000 from me in year 2017. when i call the customer service from business department on Sunday Janu... read more
We were just hacked through PayPal. The hackers started the withdraw process of taking out two $1000 payments, totaling $2000 from my bank account. They changed my password and changed the language to French on the account so when I received my emails about the withdraws it would look like they were spam and I couldn't understand the language to find out. I've got set a overdraft alarm on my checking account, but they hold it two days and started posting penalties and then they alarmed me!! Not to mention they sent me the alarm message in 4:55pm when the office closes in 5pm! The other cheating is the automatic credit card payment system doesn't allow me to set it to pay the minimum amount due!! It allows only an exact a amount to be set, but the minimum amount is rising every day, so I'll be always short with my payments, doesn't matter how I set it!! THIS BANK IS A FRAUD!
