Let me tell you, do not use PNC Bank to get a HELOC. The outfit in McLean, VA does a total 'Bait and Switch' operation. They pull you in with a low rate and then after they've done everything, all the paperwork, credit reports, etc., they change programs on you! We had TONS of equity. I went to deposit about 15 checks into the ATM at 835am this morning at my local bank i live within walking distance in my little town and i walked my son with my dog to school then walked over there to do my banking. The walk up ATM was broken so i used the drive up, during my transaction the ATM shut down keeping my card and checks. The employees where coming in and and i asked who i now know is the assist branch manager to help me that my card was stuck. My name is ******** *********. I have a bank account with you and then opened a virtual account virtual and had money taken out of the virtual to cover overdraft fees. I have not been contacted about this money being taken out to cover and not my virtual account has no money in it. After dealing with PNC Bank for over 30 years, I entrusted them with all my accounts. After losing my job in 2015, it became necessary in 2016 to withdraw money from my 401 (k) account. I met with athe financial advisor at the McMurray, PA branch. I knew because I was over 55 and had lost my job, I could withdraw the funds without the early withdraw penalty. I met some PNC employees today at the Troy, Missouri Imo's Pizza restaurant. They were all in uniform. I was there a little bit after 11 a.m. on Monday September 25th, 2017., having lunch with my four-year-old daughter. I opened a virtual student account while I'm in grad school, so I would have access to brick and mortar bank features (e.g., cashier's checks). Sure enough I decided to buy a used car from a private seller. I don't use PNC as my main bank account because the interest rates are awful, so I deposited a personal check from my main online bank account (Capital One 360--which I love). This is the worst handling I ever had with and bank. PNC are rip offs. I submitted in a fraud claim in July. Keeping in full communication with them. I got deployed to Houston due to the Hurricane Harvey...and just found out they denied me saying it has been over 60 days. They have been putting off handling my case to deny based off this status...which is a lie so they don't have to reimburse me. PNC are thieves.

I just left my PNC branch and i have never been so furious in my life. I have had numerous issues with their practices as far as negative balances. Not one has actually been my fault when I actually get them to listen to me. Over and over people have told me to get out of there and i didn't listen. Now I guess it is my fault because i believed from the past that they would make things right. I can only wonder how badly they rip off other seniors and disabled people that are on fixed incomes.
