This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with, we paid off our auto load over 2 weeks ago and were told it would take 7-10 business days to get the paper title, and are still waiting on the title to clear so we can give the car to a family member who is a domestic situation. Every time we call the bank to see where the release of lien or where the tittle is we get a brand new set of lies. "We mailed it to you" "We mailed it to the DMV" "it should be there in the next 3 days" "we mailed the paper title last Thursday" We don't... read more
Our mortgage was purchased by PNC from Franklin American Mortgage. It's been a mind-numbingly frustrating process. We hit 78% PMI by paying down the balance and they won't remove PMI without a $500 appraisal, which is an excessive appraisal cost for our area. I called our loan originator and he said they are requiring to cancel it based on the contract that was signed on the loan's origination. I wish they would just cancel the PMI and treat us respectfully.
Business response:
PNC takes our customer's concerns very seriously. We will be working privately with our customer to resolve this matter.
No one actually helps you on their help website or phone help menus. We did not receive our 1098 - we don't know why. We have lived in the same house for 30 years so it's not like we are hard to find. Yesterday and today I made multiple contact attempts. Calling their help number ************ gets you stuck in an everlasting number of "special offers" from AT&T, direct TV and many others. Talk about a low rent help line. You never get through. There is no place to email someone - so forget that. I tried their twitter help an... read more
Worst Bank ever. Closed my business account after being a loyal great customer for two years. Would not provide any reason. I had 200k in my account. They closed my account from ONE DAY TO ThE NEXT WITH NO NOTIFICATION. They sent me a bank check for 200k to the wrong address with USPS. Cleaned out my account in total so I had no working capital. This is a week later. I still don't have the money. USPS has no idea where my check is. My business is going bankrupt and I will be suing. Never saw such sloppy work in my life! PNC ... read more
Choosing to go with PNC bank has been the most stressful and unhelpful experience ever. I've had two banks before them and none have given me this amount of trouble. I felt like I was being profiled from the very beginning and made to feel like my business and time wasn't important. My money and account was frozen for no reason other than the fact that I'm young and have a lot of money(quite literally the reason I was given) There has been very little information passed onto me as to why my funds were frozen and will be on h... read more
PNC Bank constantly oppose unnecessary fees and do it with no concern for their customers, just on sheer greed. It's amazing they are still in service. They charge a $36 return on a .99 cents transaction, first of all, I have overdraft so why arent they just allowing overdraft for the $1 transaction? you know why? because they know they merchants will continue charge the amount so they can get paid, and the bank will then be able to charge the $36, it's more money for them, forget the customer, forget them and they well bein... read more
I was a loyal and satisfied customer with PNC, starting from 2004-2010. Things started to change after this. Errors like depositing many thousands of dollars into other customers accounts and taking weeks to fix the issues. My business and personal life handled Millions of dollars through our accounts. After 2010 PNC no longer valued my business or personal transactions. I was always told one thing and given another. Even in the end I was told I would receive a copy of prior statements as requested when closing accounts. I d... read more
Beware. I opened accounts with PNC thinking it was great opportunity. I currently have an open PNC rewards credit card that I was quick found of until a failed transaction changed my mind. While using the card for large purchase I saved enough points (~116K) to purchase an Ipod. The online process to redeem the point went along smoothly but I never received the Ipod as it was sent to a previous address on file with PNC. I was never presented with this address and never received any tracking information. After calling custome... read more
This is a NEGATIVE review to warn all consumers and real estate agents seeking out mortgage loans withPNC. This organization has no business ATTEMPTING to work with consumers and real estate agents in the delicate process of a home purchase. Mortgage lender John R**** and Giovanni P**** FAIL miserably at educating the consumers and properly prequalifying clients. As a real estate agent with Keller Williams I will NEVER accept an offer on one of my listings for a buyer with PNC Mortgage services. I will demand to have the bac... read more
