PNC Bank does not value its customers. I have been a PNC customer for over 10 years. I had some financial struggles this month and overdrafted my account. I was charged a total of $258 in fees. I understand that banks need to charge something, but this charge was exorbitant, especially considering most of the charges landed on the same day. I contacted PNC about this and they were unable to do anything.

To whom it may concern, I filled a dispute Friday June 15th, 2018 against a mechanic shop that I paid for a service back in March 2018. I paid $721.??, to get my car fixed. I have been back to that same mechanic shop several times because the issue was not resolved. Every time I call and tell them I have the same issue, they say bring that care back in. I recently bought a car and the finance dept from where I bought my car ran my credit with PNC Bank to see if I would qualify for a loan with them. They sent me a letter saying that I (nor my husband) qualified despite my credit score being well above 700. Per their letter, they say their "credit scoring system assigns a numeric value to the various items of information they consider in evaluating an application. I was charged a total of three $36 dollar charges and according to PNC's own online banking records I had a positive balance at the time the I was charged; afterward the fee came out I was still positive but it caused other items that came in to be in a negative balance. With that said, based on their records I could have been charged with just one fee of $36. They renewed a CD I had asked them not to, despite two requests they not renew it, including a notarized letter. Trying to cash it out, I spent five hours on the phone on three different days on hold or being shuffled around, They claimed they had never heard from me despite their returning my written request from their office. I bought a car out of state and was not given an option for any bank other than PNC from the dealer, despite a credit rating of over 800. They have been a disaster from start to finish. I bought the car three months ago, and have made 2 payments over the phone, despite NEVER receiving loan origination paperwork. I was advised to enroll in online banking to make future payments, but if you don't have a PNC account, you cannot make loan payments online. Amazing customer service. Recommend to everyone
PNC closed all my accounts without explanation offered even when I called. They canceled my ATM cards without notice and left me stranded on the road without cash - when I needed it most of course. I was a good upstanding and loyal customer - they up and decided one day that I was not worth keeping and froze me out of my ATM money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK !!!
