They are not friendly , the PNC in Hershey, Pennsylvania make it hard for my clients who have disabilities to cash their checks and every time I go there is something wrong or and issue. You would think after all these years they would have gained a relationship by now. I would never open an account for PNC, nor would I refer them to anyone. We have to drive 30 minutes further to another PNC bank because the one in Hershey has terrible customer service.

I’m currently living overseas and four months ago my wallet was stolen. I reported it immediately and called pnc to cancel my cards. While trying to review my online account for fraudulent purchases, I was locked out of my account. Not able to regain access to my account online, I called pnc multiple times. They were not willing to help. It has taken me four months to get a password mailer sent so that I can reset my password. I’ve since found out that my account has been closed and named delinquent. I have banked with PNC for 4 years (checking and savings accounts and a car loan). I will be looking into other options now. The good: The employees at the branches are GREAT! They really care and do everything in their power to help you and are great to work with. I've only ever had great experiences whenever I go into the branch. Two standouts are Elizabeth C***** and Guha at the Buckhead PNC branch in Atlanta! We pay off a loan and clears our bank and they still tell us it will be 7 business days before its processed! They even close our account and we can't even look on line now to see if has cleared that or not! Could be few weeks before we get title to the vehicle that was paid off! Never heard such a thing! Our local banks would have it same day payoff!

Recently took out a cash advance on my line of credit. Paid the majority of the money back within the first week. Bank charged me entire monthly APR instead of breaking it down to daily interest rate against the outstanding balance. The continue these unsavory practices without being held accountable for their over charging. Going back to credit unions (NFCU) .... they at least treat customers fairly.

I have contacted the same department everyday for the past 5 business days, every time I call I am given a different answer regarding my concern. I was given the excuse of "the person you were speaking with is still in training","I'm not sure why they would've told you that" or "our department does not follow those practices" which are UNEXCEPTABLE; if you're in the same department everyone should have access to the same information and if the representative is giving out false information it is due to insufficient training.... read more

June 13, I deposited $3, 800 cash into a PNC ATM. When the machine malfunctioned, I went inside and the teller already knew I had an issue with that specific ATM. She told me the ATM had been having problems all day. I filed a dispute that she told me would be resolved within 24 hours. After many follow up calls, I was told it would actually take 90 days. PNC's clover business is an absolute SCAM. They have straight up lied to us (with third party witnesses). They have stated we would get $500 deposited in our account for purchasing a Clover, which later became ($500 in merchant credit). They've stated there would be no monthly fees, which became yes there are monthly fees. To top it off, if you want to sell your Clover, they will charge you $250 to transfer the account to another company. A device that you purchased free and clear. PNC helped me set up my credit card processing with the CLOVER and I have had nothing but trouble with it. Had to return the machine 5 times for various issues ...touch pad not working...no sound. The told me if i leased the machine I would not have to pay for anything if there is a problem. It cost $29 to return the DEFECTIVE machine . Not to mention the horrible customer service. PNC send you to clover...clover says its a PNC issue since they were the banking institution I got it from.
