Delaying tactics used by PNC. Despite the fact that I have their statement in front of me, and they are calling me on the phone number of record, they insist that they send me an email and then call them back in order to just talk with them about my account. Also, NEVER establish a checking account with them just to service your HELOC or mortgage account - once you pay in full (over $400k, my second HELOC with them) they will then start charging you low balance fees of $15 per month and drain your account BECAUSE THEY AREN'T... read more

I made a (check)deposit for $10,000 to my business account (**** *** **** ******** ** *****). When I come home and check my account, it also shows a $3000 withdrawl. I made absolutely no withdrawl and do not have a check book or even a debit card for this account. I called their customer service and they say they have no further information except that the same teller who took in the deposit also did the withdrawl. This is completly unaceptable and looks like pure fraud.
Do not do business with this bank! I applied for a personal loan online after receiving a mailing. It was for $12,000 over three years. I have a credit score of 710 and my wife and I have paid off our mortgage. I spent three weeks in a total run-around - I spoke with nine people and received twenty-seven emails from them, and they still couldn't let me know if my loan was approved or not. I've had good service with PNC for years but now I'm done. They approved me for a "Check Ready" auto loan and gave me 30 days to use the check with an option to extend another 30 days. Before 30 days were up, I called and extended another 30 days. I was told to wait for the new check as it would come via mail. Days go by without the check so i called them back. They told me they'd approved the extension but for some reason didn't send the check.They lied to me & I've been here watching the mail, now they basically tell me "u... read more
Worst of the worst, called twice today and was on hold over 20-25 minutes each time just to talk to someone. Loan application was declined "unable to verify employment" after I provided 2 pay stubs dated within the last 30 days and the phone number to the corporate office for my employer. Don't waste your time with these idiots.

They do not treat their customers well. They will hit them will fees left and right with no understanding or room for forgiveness. I will be moving all of my business away from PNC moving forward.

My son bought a car in August 2019 that was financed by PNC. PNC never contacted him about missing or short payments on the car. My son realized that the payments were not processing. He went to his bank and took out a loan to pay the back payments. He overnighted his check to PNC. The bank received the check on Friday, November 1st. His car was picked up on Monday, Nov 4th. We were behind on our monthly budget because of illness which requied unpaid sick leave. I woke up on Monday with -monies. I fixed it from savings and had +monies. 2 days later it charged me 3 overdraft fees from the Monday over draws I thought were fixed. I spent an hour trying to get it fixed with no luck. I could not even get one refunded. But i was told that I should switch my one savings into a diffent savings so my overdraw protection would actually work.
