i am a current client of PNC bank attempting to refinance, which they have told me to go pay to lock in a rate with a competitor to get them to "look" at possibly matching their rate/ program. I have already paid PNC to start the process of refinancing and have limited to no communication since paying to start the process. Last year I was involved with fraud, after contacting PNC, closing all prior accounts, and stopping the fraud, they have now made me out to be the bad guy. I opened up new accounts, checking and savings with them only to be told that I will NEVER again have mobile deposit. We no longer have a local branch and to have to go into a branch or to an ATM to deposit (and you can't do it at the Sheetz ATM) is very inconvenient especially during these uncertain times. PNC leaves no room for emotional intelligence. They show no mercy when it comes to fee refunds. I requested for a couple fees to be waived due to some unexpected ach transactions. Only to tell me that after a system reviewed my account they could not waive my fees. I asked how a system can determine that especially since I have never overdrawn my account. I am a sole proprietor and tried to get a PPP loan from them. I have been banking with them for 32 years. After many phone calls to get the required additional business account set up, they mistakenly opened up two business accounts for me and my business name was my birthdate! Many more calls to Pittsburgh! Finally they asked me to contact my local branch which advised me that I was ineligible because I didn't have a business acct. with them as of 2/15/20. I have been a customer since 2013, basically all my adult life. I hate this bank. I was once profiled as potential Bank Robber at the Orland Park IL location and promised a written apology which I never received. I'd a hat and sunglass on as I was out running errands, I tried using the ATM and it wouldn't work so I went into the branch. I was forcely asked to remove my hat and glasses, I did so once I realized they'd assumed I meant them harm. Applied through PNC’s website for the PPP loan on day one, and provided ALL necessary documentation. Didn’t hear anything for 9 days. Then got an email saying we were missing a document (which was not listed as a required document when we applied). Today we got an email saying the program was out of money, so we wouldn’t be getting the loan. Had PNC processed our application in a timely manor, the program wouldn’t have run out of money before getting to us! PNC dropped the ball big time! We will take our business elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible institution for small business. They completely sandbagged my PPP application which left me out of access to the program funds. 8 days they sat on my file with zero correspondence, then advise me a section needed correction. That was then there pitiful excuse that the application process was now closed.

I understand that everyone is making the best out of this horrible Corona situation but to be on hold 59 min to the point where the branch has now closed and still noone picks up is just ridiculous and to have your called answered and taking care of by the 800# and still be on hold is bananas. Also to be told by the 800 # that the branch should've taken care of me and I shouldn't have been ran around in the 1st place is even more frustrating. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE PNC DO BETTER!!!!

On March 31 2020 I contacted my local branch about the PPP loan. They advised me to make an appointment. I did..April 7 10;30 am. On april 2 I called to confirm, Check... On April 3 2020 I received an email from my local branch advising me I could not come in, I would have to appy on line, however the website was not available!!
