Took my daughter this past Sunday for a high respiration rate and retractions due to RSV. . The provider was very dismissive of a VERY sick baby. The NP stated that her respirations were so rapid because of her being hot, although she didn’t have a fever. We were sent home and told her lungs didn’t sound too bad, and given some Tylenol because she was fussy. We went to her pediatrician the following day because I knew something was wrong. My babe started running a fever on Saturday evening and I knew it was Flu. Yesterday, I took my girl to PM peds and they confirmed my assumption. They went above and beyond: a bottle of water to help with medicine, a popsicle for a post strep test, and stickers for my girl. The NP was so thorough and honest; ultimately, giving me the choice of how I wanted her to be treated. THANK YOU FOR MAKING A STRESSFUL DAY LESS STRESSFUL. You guys are amazing!
The staff was amazing and accommodating to my sick daughter who suddenly had a terrible earache! Thank you for being there for us!!
I took my child last night because of her back cough, sneezing etc. The nurse said she had bronchitis and was given a RX cough medicine. I asked for a steroid shot but the nurse said she didn't need it. When we got home a gave her 1st dose and she suddenly got worse. Coughing all night long and all day today. I took her to her primary doctor today and she was diagnosed with croup and was given a shot . My child is FINALLY sleeping and hasn't coughed in hours. I will NOT go back to Pm ped.
