It has taken many phone calls and more time than I can imagine to simply update my address with them. My bills have been arriving at an office I used three offices ago. Also, I am routinely unable to actually buy postage when I need it. I have a postage machine and filling it up with postage usually requires an hours long phone call. Pitney Bowes is absolutely one of the WORST companies I've ever worked with. Go ahead and try to get someone helpful on the phone. If you do it's probably after you've been on hold for 45 minutes, and they won't actually complete anything you've requested. The website is terrible and their late fees are charged BEFORE the payment is due. When I questioned this, they recommended I send my payment 10-15 days ahead of time to avoid the issue. I have been an Office Manager/Accountant for 30+ years and have never had such a frustrating experience as trying to work with Pitney Bowes. I received a notice that they were going to shut our meter off because we were past due about $150.00. I hadn't received any invoices and we always pay our bills the day they are received. Be careful if you use this company. I have been paying on my due date but was not aware that their system doesn't post on the same day so I was getting hit with a $39.99 late fee each month. Yes, my fault that I should have paid closer attention but I have never had this experience with any other company as long as I paid on my due date. I even had emails to show that payment was processed on the due date. I called and got pushed around to many people. We kept receiving multiple bills per month for odd amounts, so when logging onto our online account to view and pay invoices, I noticed that under Account Information, some other business's postage information and personal information was listed along with ours. This other business is a law firm located in Virgina, we are a medical office in Nebraska. Buyer beware. Have been in business for over fourty years and have yet to deal with such a dishonest, disorganized, and dysfunctional company. Every word written in complaint and review sights is true regarding this company. The only way this nonsense will be stopped is to contact your states attorney general and ask that an investigation be conducted in to the internal operations of Pitney Bowes. I am the Administrative Assistant that had to deal with this company on behalf of my boss and his company. If I could sue this company for time lost and shady billing practices, I would. I'm to the point where I would love to start a class action lawsuit against this company. The Purchase Power part of the company does not communicate with the other side of the company. Worst experience i have ever had with a company. Got postage meter for free trial, sent back right away and was still charged. I am writing this as i have now been on hold for 45 minutes trying to resolve the problem. Do not do business with this company. PS does the BBB have any credibility when according to its own website the reviews for Pitney Bowes are "98%" negative and yet the BBB still rates them at A+?

We've had lots of problems with Pitney Bowes. At first they repeatedly couldn't get our mailing address correct and their bills were often handed to us by others or never arrived as a result. Then they would want to charge us penalties for being late. (It felt to me as if they were intentionally making the mailing address wrong so that they could add penalties).
