I would have given them a 0 if there was an option. My father signed an equipment lease agreement for the pbsmart system. He owns a MAC and after 3 months of battling with them, we are told the equipment is not compatible with MAC A 4 year lease on equipment we have not taken out of the box. My father passed away but we are still running his small publishing business. Sickens me that they will not let us break the lease. $4500.00 on equipment that was never used. I have been battling with Pitney Bowes for quite some time. I opened an account with them in February 2 2018 and cancelled it on Feb 21 2018. I used their service for ONE package of less than a pound in weight. I got a bill that was well out of line with the charge. I went through their "help" service on their website asking why it was so high. I got this response... Pitney Bowes is now officially the worst at customer service over the cell service providers. I have been going around and around with them since January 2018 to return a meter they sent to us in error and remove the invoices associated with it. I returned the meter on May 3, 2018 and have done everything they asked, but am still be billed for the meter.
I wish I could give them negative stars. They have screwed up our accounts so badly and we are being billed for another company's postage. I have called no less than 10 times trying to get it fixed to no result. I have been on hold with them for an hour today waiting to speak to someone in the US who speaks english and can actually fix my account.
Their customer service is the worst. After waiting 40 minutes I was disconnected. Called back and spoke to a cs rep who put me on hold for another 45 minutes and then transfered me to a new rep. I was being billed for late charges that were never reflected on current statements and therefore were assessed late fees on the late fees. Their statements are deceptive. I have to say that they do not have the greatest customer service if you even get the opportunity to speak with an actual human. If you do not receive your invoices it apparently is your fault and they will charge you late fees and will not remove the.
We feel this company likes to not work with there customers. They have invoices due on the weekend which if one day late you are charged all sorts of extra charges. For being one day late we were accessed charges of $49.62.
Pitney Bowes is, by far, the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Misleading letters, no follow ups to cases, months of waiting to hear back without response. Stay away from this company at all costs.
Zero Stars. I have been waiting over 6 months for them to terminate one contract that wasn't even up until October so we could get a new postage meter and I have gotten nothing except a headache. Numerous emails, unanswered for weeks after sending them several times, contracts that aren't the price they quoted me, resigning, broken promises. It's a postage meter for crissakes.
