Avoid Pitney Bowes. NEVER sign a contract with Pitney Bowes. Their contracts are full of extra fees, service charges and you are completely responsible for the equipment even while under lease. Their entire business is based on getting people stuck in contracts that they cannot exit.

We are at the point of seeking legal council regarding the ongoing lease issues with Pitney Bowes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! This is how they treat their customers whether you are new or a customer like us, who have been in business with them for many years. They called to renew our older K700 meter for 36 months. We decided to renew. Ten months later, we were solicited by another salesperson that the K700 meter we currently leased was near being obsolete. She told our owner that she could give us a deal on a bra... read more

We have the exact same issues with Pitney Bowes as everyone else. Our company is looking into filing a complaint with the BBB and ending our dealings with Piney Bowes due the continual and ongoing issues with this company. On several occasions "Support" has ignored requests to have our dispute forwarded on to management. They close the disputes, even when documented in email that they have been asked not to, and even though their email says they won't close it until you agree it's been resolved. They have charged late fees o... read more

Do not use this company. We have been trying to get a technician here for 4 days to service our postage meter. We keep getting the run around from their managers. Their contract states, we cannot be released from our contract for any reason.

After using there postage meters for 12 plus years. Cancelled contract Created: 04/17/2019 @ 11:47AM Request Termination of Contract ready to expire 7-19-2019. Pitney Bowes did not cancel contract until 7-19-2019 and said that it would be 30-60 days before we would receive a box to return meter and only after we paid a restocking fee? They have contacted us about replacing our meter with a newer meter and they still want to charge a restocking fee for a meter that they will not use again, after being a customer for so long??... read more

I never ordered a postage meter. They delivered one and charged $467.90. My assistant and I have spent several hours on the phone trying to resolve this. Nobody at Pitney Bowes is able to help us with this. All we want is to return the meter. But their billing dept continues to hound us. Extremely unprofessional if not outward fraud.

If I could rate a zero I would. The salesman convinced the front desk person that company needed an upgrade to our old equipment. We are now stuck in a 5 year lease agreement at too high of a price. We send probably 20 pieces of mail per month and have a contact for almost $200.00 per month. That equals out to a cost of approximately $1.60 per mail item. Took almost a month of them ignoring my request for termination and only responded because I called and insisted on a real person. Oh yeah they will let us out of the lease ... read more

I would highly recommend never doing business with Pitney Bowes. They only offer long-term lease contracts with no ability to transition out even if your business model has changed. Our business has been able to transition most of our customer communication to a paperless method so we rarely have the need for the Pitney Bowes equipment anymore. The company is completely unwilling to work with us to return the equipment or change the lease. We would be willing to pay an early cancellation fee, but they will not allow it. I fe... read more

We continue to be charged monthly late fees on an automatic payment set 5 days before due date. We've called multiple times and continue to be charged.
