Since new website has been up, they no longer send you invoices. No email notification either. When you login, no mention is made for outstanding invoices. You have to go to the actual billing page pretty much every month to check if there is an outstanding invoice. They charge crazy interest for past-dues. No one answers the phone. I had to navigate their phone tree and finally let on that I was thinking of cancelling my account (which I can't do since my lease is not up yet) to be transferred to someone. Terrible customer service. Lease expiring and spent hours on hold trying to get them to send return packaging for the meter. They say they are backed up. Never do business with them again.
My wife ordered a postal meter from these guys and told me about it later on... when i called to cancel, i was put on hold for 20 minutes and when ask gave a callback number and was called back about 45 minutes later only to be put on hold again for about 15 minute. When i finally had someone on the phone, she was way to nosy and rude and said there software was offline and it would take about 2 months to receive a return label in the mail to return the meter... not very good customer service in my opinion. I have been trying to cancel our contract with Pitney Bowes, I have waited on the phone a total of about 2 hours. They say I must wait til my bill in February and pay it before I can cancel. I have also sent emails, that were forwarded somewhere and a "case" was set up?? I simply want to return their equipment. This is easier said than done.
Terrible experience with Pitney Bowes. We have been trying for months to simply return our device. After enduring hours of hold time, we get the runaround by agents who gives us either wrong information, passes us on to another department that doesnt help or simply disconnects the call after placing us on hold to research our case. My office mailed in a check for 2,000 dollars to go on our postage account. We waited for that to process and then tried to download funds onto our meter. The meter only showed a 2.00 credit. We called Pitney Bowes on 12/30/2016. We sent then a front and back copy of the check. They reviewed it and informed us that they were going to send it up to processing to expedite. We have been a customer of this company for several years and they consistently mess up our billing and correspondance. Despite a half dozen calls and several hours on hold, they continue to get our billing wrong. We asked to be taken off their electronic billing because they kept emailing the invoices to employees who were no longer with the company and then proceeded to charge us late fees and finance charges. First off, do not start an account with this company. They take your money and then charge you late fees. Not worth calling to fight these fees unless you plan on waiting of upwards of an hour. If you are one of the lucky ones to get a hold of someone, you will then be transferred to someone else and another half hour gone. Their "high tech" website is laughable. Paid an invoice on 8/19/16, with check showing as cleared through our bank on 8/24/16. Have received multiple "over due invoice" notices and phone calls. Called the customer service line to clear up issue, was left on hold for 45 minutes, customer service rep picks up and speaks to me for 2 minutes, then puts me back on hold for another 10 minutes, at which time I hung up.
