Normally i hate going here, their wait be so long but i went on 9/6/17 went to back right away. Got to back the longest wait ever but the staff was so polite and made sure i was comfortable. Other than long wait it was a ok experience
I will only ever come back if I am actually DYING. Waited for 4+ hours to finally get called back to be told they were going to treat me in the HALLWAY on a gurney. Rude staff and just an awful experience.
I sat in the waiting room doubled over in pain crying for more than 2 hours. It was awful. My fiancé carried me out the door to rush me to a different facility. I laid on the ground crying in pain until he got the car to the doors only then did someone come outside and said they had a room available for me. Then I stayed in that room for 2 more hours just crying in pain before I saw anyone. I was there a total of 7 hours. It was the worst experience of my life in a medical facility. What is the point of having insurance for emergency care that the hospital accepts yet the doctor in the ER does not? Piedmont Newton, you need to tell people this before care instead of letting them find out when they get the bill. The Dr. from angelfish didn't even fix my son's broken arm, we had to go to CHOA the next day anyway. If you can't provide the care and work with the patients insurance then just be honest and send them somewhere where they can and will instead of trying to run up a huge bill.
Went in with a fish hook stuck in my leg. Brittany checked me in within 15 minutes and took me to the back. I saw a doctor within 15 minutes and he had the hook cut out within an hour. Brittany then came in cleaned the wound area, bandaged it and I was out! Great job staff and Brittany is an asset to Piedmont Newton....
The folks up on the 3rd floor are the rudest, they definitely need to be trained on how to treat people and all this place is doing is giving my mother in law meds to keep her drugged up and they are giving her pain medicine when she's not in any pain and ignore the family and do it anyway after telling them not to! All she was wanting was something to help with nausea and they are doing what they shouldn't be doing!
