From the time I walked in to the Knox Surgical Center wth my husband for surgery until we left we received excellent care. Thank you Mary Jo who handeled all the intake info in the pre-op area, to Ron and both anesthesiologist to Dr. Craig and the nurses in post op. Outstanding care throughout the process.
The staff does not listen. They don't share information. They all ask the same questions as they type on their computer. My husband has a heart condition,he is very depressed. And he was asked 3 times by 3 different employees about a DNR. For Real People. You don't ask an already depressed person because their heart is failing 3 times about a DNR. Once is good enough. The whole staff was wonderful to me and my husband Just loved all the people that helped me.
My Husband had a MRI yesterday, they called us on Thursday for MRI on Monday, never went over deductible or anything with us over the phone ,come to find out we were to be at the hospital instead of across from the hospital like they originally told us ,then like everyone has 800$ in your pocket, wants deductible up front ,so we go across to the hospital and wait wait wait ,without any numbing meds,they put dye in his hurt shoulder, not in a iv, but in that shoulder, now he's in more pain than he started with ...#IsThereReal... read more
They took real good care of my brother up untill he passed away and they continue to take care of my family there
Brought my husband out to Piedmont Newton and let's just say never again .. Got there around 12:40 and took to a hall bed after about an hour only to be moved to another part of the ER . Waited for over an hour without seeing a nurse or DR . This is unsatisfactory and we will not be coming back here .. I will drive further to go to a different hospital. Since Piedmont bought out Newton it has not improved at all . I even asked a nurse about why it was taking so long and all she gave me was excuses . I'm sorry but Newton USED... read more
Joke of a establishment. I know not everyone who works here falls in this category but I, including numerous family and friends have had terrible experiences here. Especially in the emergency room, absolutely ridiculous..
