RecommendedI went to the Emergency room yesterday with difficulty breathing. I have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness by everyone. Yes they moved a little slowly in some areas, but it wasn't to the point of annoyance. Horrible!!!! Misdiagnosed, missed a blood sugar of 40 and just can’t stand this ER!!
In the ER they told me that blood work, CT scan and EKG was normal. MyChart loads all our testing and that doctor lied straight to my face. Piedmont Newton, any Piedmont hospital, has gotten worthless! Dr.Giberson isn't worth the money he makes. I asked for another doctor because he misdiagnosed me in December. I ended up having emergency surgery because of his lack of being able to read a CT scan report. He simply told me that that that I could not get another doctor which I know by law I can.
ER took way too long to put staples into my son’s arm
This is for the Emergency Department. The majority of the ED staff is very nice and gives great customer service. We understand that sometimes staff is overwhelmed and/or overworked, but they do apologize for things that happen. The wait to get back into a room was ridiculous, and it would be helpful if the staff would smile a little bit more. Danielle was our nurse and she was very competent and professional.
