Last Saturday me and my husband visited your poughkeepsie location to get a few things now as we were leaving to go to our car we were parked next to a silver Chevy the girl was on her phone smoking marijuana we asked her to put that away she told us to mind our business. My job allows me to smoke so my husband went back into the store to get her name and talk to the manager but no one would talk to us. A cashier did come over and told us the girls name Randy after that experience I will never shop at your location at all.
We took a family puppy here to get groomed for the first time. Indy is a doodle and the sweetest 6 month old boy ever. They not only abused and tortured this poor puppy, they traumatized him for years to come. This place is DISGUSTING!!!!!! They didn't even FINISH him. Now not only does he look like an abused dog from a shelter he ACTS like one. He cowers and shakes and is SO afraid. This is going to affect him FOREVER. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
I called customer service about an order that was not right. I was told it could be corrected the next day and took my email and telephone number. Well come to find out I was lied to and laughed at over the phone!! Waited for a supervisor!!! I have been shopping in the stores and doing auto ship for over 6 years!!! My Yorkie was groomed by Clay at the Carmel Indiana store. He completely shaved her, including her tail! Yet left uneven tufts of hair on her paws, elbows and around her mouth that I had to trim off when we got home. She looks like a chihuahua with a opossum tail now! Horrible!! Get groomers who are qualified!
I called petco customer service to price match 2 items that were not on sale at petsmart but were still half the price at petco. They were willing to price match but then would not let me use the black friday "25% off buy online pick up in store". I understand not price matching a sale then giving a promotion on top, but the filters were not on sale just a normal price while petxo expects 200% more for the same items apparently. Very disappointing, as I try to be loyal to petco. I decided not to purchase from them.
Went there today at 7 mile and Livonia and guy kept telling me my order wasn't there when I knew it was. When I finally got a manager they found the order to apologies nothing then I was missing items from the order. Not the best customer service.
Maybe have groomers there that know how to groom dogs correctly. My Goldendoodle looks horrible. Like BALD and has red nicks and now very irritated ears that look infected!!! This was a horrible experience. Every person who has seen my poor pup since asks what happened to her.
Petco is horrific, a mindless cruel animal mill that inhumanely discards hurt animals, sells cages to children that are FAR to small to house the animals they are intended for, and doesn't care well for the animals even in store. I bought a guinea pig from them that turned out to lose its hair within days, to a horrificly awful case of ringworm, and while holding it and having its little nails scratch me even just mildly, I caught ring worm from it on bith of my forearms.
