Petco has cancelled my shipment twice. I’m still waiting for my money to be refunded back to my account. The first time I had to call customer service to find out where the first shipment was. The csr rep I spoke to apologized and told me they they could ship again. I explained that I was traveling and it would be better to cancel but he assured me that he could have the items overnighted. I recently placed an order online which was supposed to be overnight shipping. After not receiving it 3 days later I called to cancel it and was told that it would be canceled and my money refunded. I then got an email saying it could not be canceled because it was from a third party vendor. I called again and was told that it would be canceled and then got the same email. I finally spoke to a supervisor, Teresa, who told me that she spoke to the vendor, cancelled it, and I would be refunded in 2-3 business days. Well, it ha... read more

I was in petco last night there were no visible signs saying they are not accepting refunds currently supposedly due to covid. I purchased birds THAT I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT IF THEY TOLD ME OF THE NO RETURN POLICY. They NEVER explained their wings were cut so short that they couldn't fly up to the perch. They are stuck on the bottom of the cage and my dogs are harassing them as they are eye level with the them. They even sent me info about care sheets WHICH NEVER SAID anything about there not being returns currently.

I went in to return some pet food I just bought and they are saying they are not taking returns at this time due to COVID. Well we have been in this situation for almost a year now it is too bad Petco feels COVID can be cought from a return item. Unforunitly they have now lost my business forever because Petsmart and other petshops in the Fresno area are taking returns.

I made my last visit to Petco today. I've been going there for over 20 years to refill my plastic 30 lb bins at their bulk litter station, which is the only reason I still shop at Petco, as they routinely overcharged me for canned cat food by counting the cans incorrectly. Have the ability to cancel orders on items from third party vendors. Either offer the items with all the purchase options as their own items or DON’T sell them. 😠

Notify people in advance if they do/do not have records on their pet as they are required for service.

Last Saturday me and my husband visited your poughkeepsie location to get a few things now as we were leaving to go to our car we were parked next to a silver Chevy the girl was on her phone smoking marijuana we asked her to put that away she told us to mind our business. My job allows me to smoke so my husband went back into the store to get her name and talk to the manager but no one would talk to us. A cashier did come over and told us the girls name Randy after that experience I will never shop at your location at all.
