I talked to Sherry in home owners insurance service and was very knowledgeable. She has great communication skills besides being very pleasant. I would look to her to be a trainer or supervisor. I would think that having a talented employee like Sherry you would show her Pekin’s appreciation of her skills and raise her salary. It is rare these days to find someone like her. I was involved in a hit and run with one of their customers. My truck is so messed up and after over 2 weeks of calling over and over NO ONE HAS EVEN CAME OUT TO LOOK AT MY VEHICLE nor have I even SPOKEN with someone except for the receptionist. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and DOI. This is completely wrong and unacceptable.

In my experience, if there was no social media, there will be no short term resolution of my case, and that shows a lack of procedure and good intention from claim department,the only good words that i can say is for the social media team( the FB page) which are helpful and respectful, they by their good behavior are the winners in this story.
$13k roof repair and I recieved $1800 from insurance. They found extra damage from the initial estimate at $8600 and said "let us know if they find further damage", when they did it took almost two weeks of calls and emails to get a reply that nope, you get nothing else. "Beyond the Expected"? Yeah right.

They will fight you at every turn. Gave us so little for our roof that it costs us thousands of dollars out of pocket. An adjuster told me our deductible was $500 so we gathered up enough then when it all came due it was actually $1000 due to very confusing wording. When I told Pekin that she quoted $500 even in an email they said sorry she is new. 🤷🏻♀️ Give is your $1000. We had a rough year with our home and needed to file another claim.
