RecommendedA Dishwasher caught fire in our Home damaging the kitchen, along with smoke and water damage. The most important thing, no one was hurt thank God.Our Adjuster Jeff Yeager was Wonderful ,not only with our claim but with his encouragement and outlook on life.I'm sure there are great adjusters out there but we think Jeff is one of the Best !!!
Our family moved over one year ago, we changed our address with Pekin for our auto and home owners insurance. 12 months after the move they sent a notice to our old address that our premium increased $50 we never got the notice so we made the normal payment and mailed the check. Then they mailed a notice again to the old address stating since we still owe $50 on our auto policy they had closed our policy! My insurance adjuster - August from the springfield, il office has been wonderful to work with. He came to the house during a snow storm to assist me with my claim. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my claim has not been fully settled yet.
I had an accident with somebody with their insurance (and was fault) and now i am without a vehicle and not working. The company is dragging their feet and not wanting to get me a rental car or do anything.

I ended up having my auto totaled out and the local Pekin adjuster, Karrie Bowers made this a very easy and pleasant experience. I am a very proud customer of Pekin insurance, she took care of every detail. Thanks Kerry Bowers and the Pekin Team.
This is based on my first day dealing with Pekin. The customer service rep was extremely rude. I was in an accident last night with one of their insurers and I'm told I have to wait 5 days for someone to contact me. I told her this is unacceptable as I need a vehicle. She told me to rent a car with my own money and maybe they can reimburse me for it. But she can't tell me rather they can or not. What a joke. My insurance company has been in contact with me all day today.
One MINIMAL claim in years and my premium rate increased by $200.00!!! I'm searching elsewhere!
