About this business
We cook in a Mugnaini-built wood-burning oven. We use white and red oak for its clean taste, high BTUs (British thermal units) and mild ash bed. All of our pizzas, wings, appetizers, and entrees are cooked to perfection at a consistent 800 degrees. The blaze of the oven leaves its unique mark on all of our foods with a signature charred bubble on the crust of our pizzas, and an addicting caramelized char on our wood-fired wings.

The food was good and the wine was as well but the lighting at the edwardsville location is not very good. Where we were seated it was very dark and I could hardly read my menu. I know I turned 39 yesterday but I didn't think my eyes were that bad. Other than that it was very enjoyable. I love the salads, and my pizza was very tasty!
The service was awesome and the food was delicious! They were extremely busy, but the wait wasn't long and the food came out very quickly.
The bourbon maple bacon wings are awesome.So was the � and a a humungus Cesar salad. The brewed beer was great to.

Peel is one of my favorite restaurants! Took my Sister in Law from TN for lunch and she loved it! We aren't to adventurous and chose the trio pizza & we each got a side salad with ranch! Everything was delicious! We didn't have dessert but the chocolate waffle they were serving sure looked scrumptious!

I haven't been to Peel since my daughter graduated from SIUE. The pretzel appetizer was a great way to start the meal. The pizza was cooked just right with right amount of cheese and sauce. To finish off a great meal was the dessert Nutella Smore pizza was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and we never had to wait for our refills. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Hope to get back soon!
