About this business
We cook in a Mugnaini-built wood-burning oven. We use white and red oak for its clean taste, high BTUs (British thermal units) and mild ash bed. All of our pizzas, wings, appetizers, and entrees are cooked to perfection at a consistent 800 degrees. The blaze of the oven leaves its unique mark on all of our foods with a signature charred bubble on the crust of our pizzas, and an addicting caramelized char on our wood-fired wings.

It's my favorite pizza!! Went to SIUe for school and now live 3 hours away but still make the trip down time to time just for peel! 😋 Never been disappointed in their food or service.
First time there. Everything was great. Totally loved the house salad!

Excellent service and excellent food! Sampled a couple of their beers, but finally settled on one that was absolutely delicious, and ordered that one.
The pizza is down right awesome. Very creative menu, but for me, it's their Spinach Artichoke Involtini. I've never had anything like it and comes with three dips that measure up perfectly. Red pepper hummus, creamy garlic parmesan and balsamic. The vast assortment of draft beers is the perfect compliment to it all.

Peel is my absolutely favorite restaurant. The hot brown pizza is AMAZING! The staff is always super nice and well versed in the menu! Love this place!!!!
