Well, they both seemed to know what they were talking about, and the work they did, strictly maintenance, was done so that the furnace in both locations still runs. Prompt and knowledgeable.
Timely arrival and great work.
Needed what they called a small wire repair. Wiring on furnace was loose making the fan blow continually and no hot air. Difficult to rate quality of the work at this point but time will tell. Biggest disappointment was that the work was completed before I was even told what the problem was. Given no option but to pay the $127 for less than 5 minutes of work or was told they could go back into the attic and undo the repair. We offer a free service call and diagnosis with any flat-rate repair. This call however, required NO components to be replaced. His unit did not work when we arrived, and worked when we left. It was only LABOR that was required to make the system run. We are there to FIX the heater. Since there was no parts that needed replacing, we assumed that he would want us to wire unit correctly so that it WOULD. The unit has to run to figure anything else to be diagnosed. I don't know how to know if I got good "value for money," as I only got the single bid from Patriot Air. Everything about Patriot was positive, with a minor exception of how they bill. Everything is done electronically, which is fine. The problem is they ask you to sign electronically on their IPad and you cannot read what you are signing. I got the text in an email later and everything seems to be fine, but it's a little disconcerting to sign a contract you can't read first.

In an effort to keep track of our customers, their repair history, and service contract info, we've adopted a "paperless" system. We have a secure, offsite database that stores all this info. All of our terms and conditions are available for the homeowner to read on our electronic invoices. When the customer signs the invoice, they have the option to scroll down and read through all the verbiage prior to signing anything.
