Great information and and helpful understanding of procedure and PT
I had a freak accident and tore 3 tendons. I was misdiagnosed and he saw me very quick and got the right diagnosis. He explained everything involved. He also explained the pros and the cons. I had the surgery. It was an ACL, LCL an MCL tear and repair. Bucket tear which means something more complicated from my research. I have done so well. My mom needed her second knee replacement. Dr. Parentis has replaced two joints and, most recently, a somewhat complicated knee arthroscopy using a new procedure. All three surgeries were successful. I feel confident in the diagnosis because he explains in detail without ever rushing me and more importantly, he listens. He is highly skilled and I am grateful for the outcomes which leave me without pain.
Doctor Parentis recommended prp treatment & seems to have taken care of my issues
Dr. Parentis treated me for a distal radius fracture from a mountain bike fall. Other doctors immediately jumped to the conclusion that I'd need surgery for the break so close to my wrist. However, after carefully reviewing the xrays, Dr. P concluded that surgery wasn't necessary, the set by the emergency room was spot on and that the best course of action was to leave it alone. EVERYONE IN HIS PROACTICE IS KIND AND FRIENDLY. Everything went just as Dr. Prentis said and I have awesome new knees and am doing things I haven't been able to in years.
The empathy and skill the “Doc” has provided me since the day I decided I couldn’t handle or ignore my arthritis any longer, has improved my quality of life. I am able to throw a football and kick a soccer ball around with my son for the first time in years. I am so grateful for Dr. Parentis and his staff.
