Nagging pain in my elbow required surgery after all other options were exhausted. Dr. Parentis talked me through the procedure, the risks, the probable outcomes and answered any questions I had along the way. I began seeing his PA, Jennifer (who is EXCELLENT also!) for shoulder pain in May 2022. When my concerns were confirmed (xray, MRI), I was able to make a timely appt. to see Dr. Michael Parentis. When I met with him to review my MRI results, he gave me advice on how to proceed but there was no pressure to have surgery/not have surgery. From start to finish Dr. Parentis and his staff took great care with diagnosis and treatment and surgery.
I had meniscus surgery done by Dr Parentis. He took the time to explain what was wrong with my knee and the procedure in detail. Will definitely recommend him to anyone that has orthopedic needs. Special Thanks to the staff also.
After a very bad experience with another knee doctor I decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness I did! Dr. Parentis immediately knew that the brace i was wearing was not needed and actually doing more damage, causing atrophy and a contracture. Today I am in great shape without surgery! Dr Parentis has now repaired both of my shoulders: One from an accident 10 years ago. Now from a skiing accident this year. This includes a rotator cuff, bicep reattachment and bone spurs removal. In both cases I have regained full motion and activity. He is professional, highly skilled and a great communicator.
I had my knee replaced and he did a great job and was very caring and concerned as to my recovery and check-ups. He is very patient and will answer any questions you may have thourghly.
I've had total replacement of both knees. From my first visit with Dr. Parentis I was very pleased with the time he takes, listening and providing all the information to make your situation the most positive and what will give you back the quality of life and ability to enjoy each and every day.
