I have been going to him for over 20 years for multiple reasons. Torn maniscis, torn patella tendon, knee replacement, and most recently a torn rotator cup surgery. Great Dr, Great Pa's, and staff.
Dr Parentis is a kind caring medical professional. He address your concerns and makes your feel cared about. I had broken my foot while at work and had told a friend whom had also foot issues I needed someone whom I could trust and keep me on my feet in the future. Ive had two different surgeries from Dr Parentis in the last year from a fall. I rolled my foot and twisted my knee then fell hard on my shoulder tearing rotator cuff. Dr Parentis had some extensive work replacing tendon and restructuring the arch, he was honest about recovery and results based on past patients. I had a life altering injury to my lower leg, ankle, and foot. To have a doctor who listened, was kind, had superb medical advice, was compassionate, and always reminded me that if I had any issues, all I had to do was call, was the biggest blessing. Dr. Parentis did a wonderful job fixing my foot. I only regret waiting so many years to have surgery. Prior to choosing him to perform the surgery I visited 3 other doctors for advice. Dr. Parentis immediately made me comfortable with my options and how he would attempt the surgery. While there is risk with any surgery, I had been in pain for almost 10 years and unable to walk without favoring that foot. Dr. Parents has given me my quality of life back! My knee was so bad that the pain couldn't be explained if you were not experiencing it yourself. My knee replacement has been just over 1 year ago. My range of motion is excellent and I can run in the yard with my granddaughters again! This is all because of the quality, dedicated and caring work from Dr. Parentis and his staff!
Dr. Parentis is a compassionate and very skilled physician/surgeon. I walked in his Orchard Park office in excruciating pain in my shoulder. I was unable to move it without crying out in pain. I was desperate for help. Upon examination and imaging done it was determined surgery would correct the problem. Provider took his time and asked multiple questions . He did an exam and watched my gait . He gave multiple treatment options and had me research them and think about them before proceeding with treatment to be sure we picked the right one .He didn't push one treatment more than another.
I have been a patient of Dr. Parentis for a very long time. What I like about Dr. Parentis is his personal inter-interaction with his patients. He takes his time to let you know what your diagnosis curtails and what the next step my be to decrease your discomfort. There is no time limit during your visit with him.
