A thorough exam with what is happening and what to expect. He gives you tips on physical therapy. What you could do to expedite recovery and what to look for. He's always positive and always concerned for your wellbeing. He's eager to answer questions and put your mind to rest. I love the guy. I'd recommend him to friends without hesitation. Dr. Parentis did two of my surgeries: big toe joint replacement and tibial nerve decompression. From the initial consultation to the surgery, and then the post-op, Dr. Parentis was informative, empathetic, and cerebral. For both surgeries, Dr. Parentis explained the procedures in simple and understandable terms and he listened attentively to all my questions, and answered them thoroughly. After the surgeries Dr. Parentis even called me at home to check up on me. Dr. Parentis is a phenomenal doctor and I highly recommend him!
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Michael Parentis at WNY Knee and Orthopedic Surgery for my left ankle replacement surgery. He thoroughly explained both fusion and replacement options without pressuring me to choose a specific timeline. Dr. Parentis took the time to discuss the procedures and recovery process. My operation was a success and my recovery was uneventful. Throughout my follow-up visits, Dr. Parentis consistently demonstrated his genuine care for me.
