I see 5 doctors and out of all 5 I have the most faith and trust in Dr. Parentis. He shows me my X-rays and provides clear, detailed explanations related to my condition. Dr. Parentis listens carefully and takes the time to answer all my questions in an easy to understand way. I feel comfortable with his recommendations and treatment. Dr. Parentis is polite and considerate. I know I am getting the highest quality of medical care. Both of our daughters also trust in his excellent care.
Dr. Parentis went out of his way to find some relief for me for a lingering pain. I had inflammation of the bursa sack on my right leg near the hip. It began in 2016 and was treated with cortisone. In January of 2016, the pain returned with a vengeance. The pain was excruciating and there were times I could not walk. He proposed a fairly new procedure called a prp shot. I received the shot 6 weeks ago and I have been pain-free since. I am grateful to Dr. Parentis and would recommend him unconditionally.
Dr. Parentis repaired a very large rotator cuff tear and a full bicep tear for me. From beginning to end, I was well informed and he answered every question I had along the way. He did not pressure me into having this surgery and was completely honest about everything. From surgery all through my follow-up appts., I would call my surgery an absolute success. Dr. Parentis has done a total of 6 surgeries of various types to myself and 4 of my other family members, and all successful. He is an extremely kind and thorough doctor, who explains everything clearly, and is honest when suggesting treatment. Didn't rush to surgery, but offered alternative methods, while offering candid suggestions on what would work and what wouldn't. Truly cares about his patients, and has outstanding bedside manner.
I have been a patient of Dr Parentis for many years. He has operated on both my knees and shoulder. He takes time with his patients and answers all questions. His office staff are wonderful and very helpful and if you call with a question or need to talk to Dr Parentis you can bet you will get a call back the same day. If you are looking for an excellent orthopedic doctor he by far is the best!
I've been seeing Dr. Parentis for a couple of years now for too :) many joint issues (knee, shoulder, foot) and cannot say enough good things about him. Both medically and in terms of friendly chats and interactions he's been super professional, accessible and helpful. I never felt like a patient but more like a friend getting help from a friend. Good sense of humor, too.
I have been seeing Dr. Parentis over 25 yrs. He did my very successful reverse shoulder replacement 5 years ago. Always has been a very professional, caring Dr, who really cares about me. Very upfront and honest about what hes going to do and why. I am a lifetime patient for as long as he practices! His staff is wonderful also. My experience with Dr. Parentis has been very satisfactory. I have had two rotator cuff surgeries. Right and left. Both results were excellent. I was able to resume playing tennis within 6 to 10 weeks with no pain on both occasions. I also had right ankle fusion surgery that relieved the excruciating pain I was enduring. My Total Knee Replacement, which Dr. Parentis performed, is sound and solid. The entire evolution, from the original diagnosis to completing Physical Therapy, was incredibly professional. The entire process from St. Joseph's Hospital to P.T. and Dr. Parentis' office staff was nothing but efficient and a pleasure to experience. The extremely high level of pain and fluid build-up is completely solved. My life has improved a great deal after a long period of disability.
