I have been a patient of Dr. Parentis’ for a few years now, after seeing many other orthopedic surgeons in the past, and I can honestly say he is one of the kindest, most patient, professional, thorough, caring doctors I’ve ever met. Dr. Parentis did two of my surgeries: big toe joint replacement and tibial nerve decompression. From the initial consultation to the surgery, and then the post-op, Dr. Parentis was informative, empathetic, and cerebral. For both surgeries, Dr. Parentis explained the procedures in simple and understandable terms and he listened attentively to all my questions, and answered them thoroughly. After the surgeries Dr. Parentis even called me at home to check up on me. Dr. Parentis is a phenomenal doctor and I highly recommend him!
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Michael Parentis at WNY Knee and Orthopedic Surgery for my left ankle replacement surgery. He thoroughly explained both fusion and replacement options without pressuring me to choose a specific timeline. Dr. Parentis took the time to discuss the procedures and recovery process. My operation was a success and my recovery was uneventful. Throughout my follow-up visits, Dr. Parentis consistently demonstrated his genuine care for me.
This visit was to obtain a 'second opinion' after my total knee replacement post 18 months. Several areas of my visit with Dr Parentis (and staff) stand out as excellent. Wait time minimal. Dr. Parents was caring and professional. Very pleased with the care that was given to me, and the results. Getting ready for knee replacement, and trust him completely. The staff and Harmony are very caring and helpful also.
I met Dr. Parentis early in 2024 and saw him for a shoulder issue. The first time I entered the office, I felt comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Parentis listened intently to my issue, reviewed a recent MRI, and asked questions. He took the time to listen to my issue and we decided on a course of treatment. I saw him again on May 6, 2025 and we decided to continue the original course of treatment because it is working well. Each visit, Dr. Parentis took more than adequate time and care to answer all questions with thorough answers. He showed X-rays and explained everything. We never felt rushed. And with the rare case that he was treating for my daughter, he researched all possible treatments and gave several options including his recommended treatment. I am extremely grateful Dr. Parentis was recommended to us for my daughter and would recommend him to anyone.
I’ve been having issues with my shoulder for many years. I’ve been to a few doctors over those years to seek help. I always felt like I get brushed off.
