The process is easy and simply and I was provided with the updates from time to time. The service does help me lower the property value set by the city which I do appreciate it. The invoicing rate they charged for the fee is higher than the effective rate that I pay for my property tax. It seems that the homestead deduction is not considered when they decided the invoicing rate, which should be considered. Ownell reduced my taxes by only $682.00 and cost me $158.00 in fees. At least I didnt have to deal with filing this year. They did what they said they would do. Thank you for your kind words. The folks are scammers. They did get a reduction for me, but far less than my neighbor, who has the exact same model condo, on the exact same floor, in the exact same building. My neighbor received a valuation of $ 440K, mine was $ 451K. For this, I had to pay them a fee. When I asked for reconsideration they said " That case was settled informally with the appraiser, so we do not have details on what evidence or information was used to determine that value." Really?
