TRY THIS! – This is the best place for a ham breakfast. And not just the regular ham breakfast that is offered. The local's know you can order the ham steak. It comes with the bone in and you can order it any time. Some of the other breakfast are not served all day. But the ham steak is readily available at all times day and night. And I just love those potatoes...especially from the bottom of the pan and they're nice and crispy! Yum!
Disappointing Late Night Diner – It was very disappointing not to be able to order breakfast items at 11:30pm at a 24 hour restaurant. Additionally, for a restaurant that serves food in the $15-$20 price range, this establishment should accept credit cards. Instead, they charge $2.25 to use their ATM if you're unfortunate to not have enough cash.
Home-Style Kitchen – HUGE portions, menu written on chalkboards, different daily specials, Sunday brunch line is around the block!
the best breakfast – The food is great morning and night. The price is reasonable and the service is never wrong. I have never had a bad experince.
NOT THE SAME – THE PANTRY USED TO BE SO MUCH BETTER THE EX-MAYOR BOUGHT IT. THE QUALITY OF STEAKS HAS GONE DOWN.THE BACON THOUGH IS SOME OF THE BEST IN THE CITY.

Over-hyped! – The new york steak (even at medium rare) was too chewy and the tuna salad was horrible. Besides the ambience and the services, I can the same food at Norm's for half the price.
The Pantry is absolutely the best if you are a fan of the good ol' diner breakfast. The food is tasty and the portions very generous! My favorite is the #6. 2 Eggs, potatoes, your choice of ham or bacon, and toast (go for the grilled sourdough). Another tip...sit on the bakery side, at the counter.
