DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK ********** is only another demonstration of what block people not African Americans do.. they use black life matter issues to shield as a helpful resource to build themselves. I have opened my account for my husband and I over a month ago. They initially were only going to send one debit card for both of us to use, I called in to order his own card. He has received his card 3 weeks ago and after 3 re-issues of debit cards for me, I have still not received my own card. I have had 2 direct deposits come in and unable to get to my own money. Super unprofessional. They literally put me through h*** Blocked my debit card and I had bills to pay. They told me I couldnt access my money til my fraud claim was done which could take up to 30 days. BANK ELSEWHERE !!!! Save yourself the headache

I gave up 20 years of banking with **** of America to go with OneUnited Bank. It has been a pleasant experience. I am glad that I made the change. I am sure that OneUnited Bank will continue to grow and add more excellent features to their service. #bankblack

I opened an account with this bank to support the bank.Then I started getting charged monthly fees while deployed they closed the account, I called got the amount that I owed because the monthly fees accumulated paid it by money order and called 5 times and never got a email or phone call to say its been taken care of and I still am waiting as of today this bank comes off as a scam

I opened an account to support black bank and forgot to read 100 pages of disclosure and fees after all its a debit card I opened with my hard earned money, didnt think much about it at the time. Now the fees and services eat up my money and they closed my account and they didnt contact me to let me know whats going on. They quietly stole my money. Its a shame to be in business with such customer dissatisfaction. I hope they get sued.

*********** They don't care about Black people. Horrible customer service. Ridiculous fees. They lie and say they are here to help Black people but they are not just riding the trend to ********** us. DO NOT BANK HERE, TRASH TRASH TRASH. Been dealing with an issue for over 6 months called several times, no return calls, only generic email responses.

Trying to work with OneUnited Bank was one of the worst decisions ever! They give us blacks a bad name. When I saw how terrible they were, I asked them to close my accounts (in writing and over the phone). (I still have receipts.) They didn't...and they refused to send me a check. They forced me to use PopMoney. Later, they took out fees from my checking and savings account. They then told me to transfer my money out to another one of my bank accounts at another institution. Hold time for gov issued checks should not take 5-7 days to clear and when speaking to customer service she was rude kept asking are you done with questions....I ask he why is she ******* me off the call I have questions about my account! she did I have other calling waiting....Well that good I have other backs waiting that offer better services then ***************...Joined to support ***** business (my fault) not a good choice will go back to my original back..
