Horrible company I opened a credit card up through theyre bank from the one ********** secured credit card link they would only allow one payment per month over the phone every 25 days after paying off the balance they started reporting that I owed a balance when the amount balanced on the account was zero Ive closed that account in December Im still waiting on a refund check from the security deposit that was sent in they have told me they mailed it out which they mailed it out to an address I no longer reside I then called... read more

This company is beyond horrible. I canceled my debit November 2021. It's now February 10 **************************************************** so many bad situations. I've went to the point of getting my funds transferred to my other account 2 different times oneunited bank denied the transfer. I've begged to get my card expedited the refused. Bank tired to help with a fraud loan company submitting a check every week and I never got a dime from the loan company - online scam. The second time the check was presented the charge was forgiven but I warned them they will keep trying. They say I must accept the charges every time. This is not fair. I will find a way to close the account and the fees are way too high.

Do NOT bank with this company. In a attempt to support black banking I used this bank as my savings account. When I went to use my card to withdraw funds during an email it did not. I call over the course of 2 days with people telling me nothing was wrong with the card. After a request for a new card, after being promised it would arrive in 7-14days. I am closing this account ASAP (during there business hours)! This bank is a joke! The weekend before Christmas I attempt to spend some of MY money, and i have all these limitations put on me. How embarrassing! Im at Givenchy with more than enough money in the bank to pay for a few items and Im hit with a decline! On top of that, its outside of business hours so the limits cant be lifted. I think I'll never bank Black again!I love my community. I am all to familiar with the daily frustrations and obstacles that come with being Black in America. I thought I'd put my money where my heart is and open am account with **************** My Aunt is a member and sang their praises, so I opened my account online and made my deposit. OneUnited Bank is the ABSOLUTE WORST BANK that Ive ever dealt with. They have been charging overdraft fees even tho I opted out. When I called in to talk to them about they informed that making any changes on the website or app doesnt work and that you need to speak to someone in customer services. Which is confusing because on the app and when you call in they redirect to the website for almost everything. After today I will no longer be banking with them.

For starters I thought banking black would be great but when I tell you this bank is Im by far one of the most unorganized banks Ive ever been with. I signed up for my account back on September 15th, they say the cards take **** business days to receive, I called October 1st told me to be on the look out it should arrive any day. I opened an account with them and it took forever to get my card. When I finally received my card the pin number that was mailed didn't work. I tried calling and calling and the automated system was a nightmare and every new pin that was generated didn't work. After so much time, I forgot all about the account until I received a letter stating that I had a negative balance.
