RecommendedI took my son to the emergency department this morning and every single person we encountered in the 3+ hours we were there was incredible. All were so nice, so caring and compassionate. I was very impressed!
Brought my daughter in and we were in and out in an hour and a half on a Saturday. Thank you for getting her in and out at 9pm.
Went to the Urgent Care today, was in anaphylaxis and the woman at the window was more interested in obtaining payment up front and processing a credit card than get someone to help. Cash before life saving measures, how nice. Glad I didn’t forget my wallet.
Horrible place to go if you are Ill. I went to the er there twice. Both times I ended up with poor care and worse doctors. You dont send away a patient who is hemorrhaging with antibiotics and pain medication.
I had outpatient surgery today. I have to say the staff was very helpful and understanding..
Negligence. My grandmother was admitted last week for the flu. She has existing health complications (COPD, no spleen, Lupus), and they decided on Sunday she was well enough to go home. And by well enough, it just meant so she can go get a PET scan, rather than TRULY keeping her there until she was well. When one does not had a spleen, they have no immune system. I gave birth at this hospital 5 years ago and everyone was wonderful in labor and delivery. The ER however, is lacking even the slightest hint of compassion from the staff amongst many other wrongdoings. Don’t you provide empathy training or something to make a panicked mother with a child feel even the slightest bit better when they arrive for help?
I went to the ER on Saturday February 3rd. I had bad chest pains. (and a history of heart disease since 2002 that they knew about) I sat clutching my chest in pain while the clerk asked all kinds of questions. They ran a series of tests and told me my heart was fine. They pain had lessened some but was still there. They then sent me home. On February 6th I had triple bypass surgery at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Utica. Stay away from this place no matter what ails you!!!
