Gave me very little hope on saving my dog, told me it would be 4,900 for her uterus to be removed & told me she still might not make it & that I shouldn't take her home. Well I did make the decision to take her home and had the surgery performed by Coventry vet 4 hours later for under 1,000 & they were absolutely awesome & so optimistic. I'll never step foot back in ocean state. They take complete advantage of people & they should be ashamed. Chronically understaffed, Dr Sweet is a good surgeon but poor sanitation practices in their "recovery unit" left my dog with a staph infection and sores.

I recommend OSVS to everyone for emergencies. Such an amazing staff. They took such good care my dogs during such terrifying times!!
Took my 6 yr ship-ztu, unable to walk, they were so compassionate and Dr. Jennifer took fabulous care of her. She will be ok with rest. Thank you so much for the entire staff who assisted with her care!
I have been bringing my dogs here for over a decade. Care is always top notch. Dr Sweet and Dr Carrie Lester are 2 of my favorites..both take time to explain everything thoroughly and they genuinely like my dogs. Dr Sweet's follow up care from my dogs' various surgeries is amazing. This area is fortunate to have these Dr's and such an outstanding hospital here.
