I was very apprehensive when I first moved in (2016). There was a huge cockroach problem and Management at the time was less than personable. The cockroach situation was quickly resolved and management changed hands. I have been living here a little over a year and I'm very pleased with current management. I have had several maintenance issues over this past year, so I've had to deal with maintenance and after hours emergency maintenance. Every time my issues were fixed in a timely manner. I just renewed my lease for another year and I love it here! The price-to-quality ratio for the Premium units are very good and I haven't had any complaints about the unit. The property is always kept pretty clean and the staff are always there to help. It's a great place to live.
This is a nice place to live for me wife and I and our dog. It is generally pretty quiet and peaceful. The units are nice because of the full unfinished basement that can be used to store a bunch of stuff. The grounds are well kept and lighted. I have lived both in the 3 bedroom and 2 bedroom townhouse and both experiences have been good. The price is well worth it compared to apartments since you get so much more space for living. My boys and I moved to Oakwood Townhomes a year ago. The complex is clean and quiet. The property manager and maintenance are friendly and professional. We couldn't be happier so we've renewed for another year.
Oakwood Townhomes is a great place to live! My husband and I have lived here for a year, and we just renewed our lease for another. Any time we have an issue, the property manager and maintenance worker immediately take care of the problem. Doug, the property manager, even makes a point to know everyone’s name, which really adds a personal touch. If anybody is looking for a great townhome near MSU’s campus, we highly recommend Oakwood Townhomes!
As a college student Oakwood Townhomes has been a great choice to live as it is close to MSU campus and affordable!
I enjoy living in these apartments with my growing family. We have enough space for two pets, my wife and a baby. We do have an older unit, but maintenance and repairs are done as needed, so we don't have any problems with upkeep. The staff is friendly, and the rent is fairly affordable.
