What a great experience at the hotel’s restaurant. We had an amazing lunch at the “Salt Water Restaurant “ at the Newport Harbor Hotel , served by Jenny . They have an award wining New England clam chowder that is to die for . Absolutely delicious . The lobster flatbread was amazing . Chef Tom came out to introduce himself to us and tell us about the award winning NE clam chowder . Truly the best in New England . Thank you Tom and Jenny for a wonderful dining experience . Great view. Clean rooms. Awesome reception. Food is pricey, drinks pricey (bacon Bloody Marys), and watch what you get because they have their own way of making things. If ordering seafood, Stay away from the cocktail sauce unless you really like pomegranate. It will ruin a (fresh ?) seafood dinner. Of coarse the seafood was not fresh and I can tell it was frozen before cooked, chewy clams and (fry grease has weird taste) which is disappointing being this close to the seawater as all seafood was frozen and fried (some very f... read more

I can't say enough about the staff at Newport Harbor Marina. Everyone is so helpful and very friendly. Check in was quick. Hotel is right in the center of town and is in walking distance to just about everything. Rooms are clean and hotel is well kept. They have a restaurant, bar, salt water pool and sauna. Parking is convenient as they have a large gated parking lot. I will definately stay here next again.
