Terrific location, really an ideal spot to access Bowen’s Wharf and Bannister’s. Easy walk to great restaurants. Rooms need updating. Avoid Cooke House Restaurant, grossly overpriced for mediocre food. 22 Bowen’s is so much better.

We were in town for a family wedding and stayed at this hotel. It’s a tired place and desperately in need of a facelift. Rooms are small. Our room in particular had a slow sink drain, a torn window screen and a broken safety latch. Actually, the latch was missing completely. “Corporate” made the decision not to allow staff to stow any luggage - a major inconvenience. The coffee shop and bar had limited hours. A disappointing stay. Either do it right or don’t do it all.
A room overlooking the harbor is wonderful. Nice amenities
had 10 nights worth of rooms. and after party and a brunch. but couldn't get my room serviced. can't charge this kind of money and not do what was asked???? not good at all. go to the Marriott
