They have paid for years now all of a sudden they are having issues getting the payment to me. I've had to borrow money so that I don't bounce payments. They don't seem too concerned. My advocate returns my calls but is unable to tell me where my funds are.

I had New York Life for my long term disability. I was not allowed to return to my job. I was told to find another line of work. By doing so they would pay the difference up to 60 percent of my old wage. I took a job and was told to email my check stubs. After following what they told me to do. I was contacted saying they did not receive my emal containing my stubs. I emailed the same stubs to the disability attorney that new york life had appointed to me. She received the stus and forwarded those to new york life as well. T... read more

I wish they had an option for negative stars! I don't even know where to start. This has to be the most frustrating experience of my life. Everything they do is backwards if they do anything at all. The first time that I tried to contact someone it took a week and a half to get a phone call returned. Finally after speaking to "my claim manager " she was supposed to call me back the next day. It took exactly two weeks of leaving messages daily before I got a return call. I was told that everything had cleared for my long-term... read more

If I could give a negative # then I would. This place has caused me so much stress on top of what Im already going through. Its just unbelievable. Senior claim manager for long term disability does not return calls. They are the worst

*** keeps on dragging out my case and lies to me and my dr ****** about paying for records. Not that I have any alternatives, but they are making a bad situation worse.

This is a horrible business and a worst experience!!! My co-work and myself went out on leave at different times for different reason and the sa.e thing happened to us we were recieving initial coverage the. They stop the coverage for bogus reasons and try to make it impossible to receive the funds that you so desperately need while you're out of work. They have created a hardship for me and a hole that's going to be very difficult to get out of. It almost seems to me that the claims managers are train to find ways and bogus... read more

Unfortunately during an already traumatic time this company only made life more stressful. The lack of communication is the absolute worst I have experienced. I spent hours on the phone with no call backs..even from management. In 2 months I spoke to my claim manager twice after numerous messages. I never received follow *** on my claim. So sad it is this hard during an already difficult time.

The worst company there is. I needed certain days out of the week off to take care of a family member. It's been 3 week they haven't paid me for my time. First excuse was they sent check off but it went to wrong address. They actually added a extra number to my address which was strange to me cause when they send regular mail it comes straight to me with the correct address. They has been pretty good till the lady called me and fussed at me and said I should be better by now...even though I had 2 kidneys removed in Feb and was in ICU cause the cut my spleen...I was cut open and 2 Kidneys the size of footballs removed and a hernia repaired...she was also upset cause I hadnt been back to dr even though my appt isnt until next week...very poor customer care with a patient going through what they have been thru the past 2 years...
